Flavor Hub is a vibrant community created by food enthusiasts for food enthusiasts. The Flavorhub service and community are owned and operated by Flavor Hub, Inc. ("us", "we," or "our"). By accessing or using our website at www.flavorhub.com or the mobile version of our site (collectively the "Website"), you acknowledge you have read and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines, rules and conditions referenced herein (collectively the "Privacy Policy").

We encourage active engagement between members of our community. Your reflections, experiences and intuition give substance to our collective culinary journey. Nonetheless, we understand the importance of balancing your right to control your own information against the right of all users to access the information you may want to share. We provide options so you can designate the degree and form you wish to make your personal information available. Also, we restrict some of the personal information non-registered users may access and view.

This Privacy Policy does not include any pages linked to the www.flavorhub.com domain or our mobile site that is not owned and operated by us. Furthermore, this Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use Agreement. It is your responsibility to review the Terms of Use Agreement along with this Privacy Policy before accessing the Website or using our Services, as defined in the Terms of Use. By accessing the Website and using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States.

Information Collection

User Provided Information. We collect information that you submit during the registration process to create your user profile ("Profile Information"). Profile Information includes your first name, the first initial of your last name, your email address and location such as country, city or postal code, which we maintain for identification and notification purposes ("Personally Identifiable Information"). Additionally, we also collect your age information for verification purposes. We may also collect the content you submit to the Website in the form of: recipes, web-blogs, reviews, ratings, recommendations, discussions, comments, surveys, polls, geo-spatial maps, photographs, video footage, graphics or audio recordings, or other works of authorship ("Content").

Geographic Location. Our Mobile Services may require you to elect to allow us to extract your geographic coordinates based on the GPS system in your mobile device or your geographic vicinity by triangulating cellular towers that may register your mobile device's cellular signal. We use this information to match and deliver Content that may be relevant to your geographic area. Additionally, this information may be used to notify other users of your location.

Cookies Information. When you visit the Website, we usually send one or more cookies to your Internet browser. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer that uniquely identify your Internet browser. Cookies will help store preferences and record session information so the advertisement, features, and content that appear on a web page reflect your profiles and browser type. Cookies set your login information and encrypted password so you do not have to repeatedly type your login information to access the Website. We use session cookies as well as persistent cookies. Log File Information. Our servers automatically record information your Internet browser sends whenever you visit a website. Information recorded by the server logs include: your internet request, browser type, browser language, internet protocol ("IP") address, internet service provider ("ISP"), referring/exiting language and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, number of viewed pages, page viewing order and date/time stamps ("Non-Personally Identifiable Information"). The log file information collects aggregate Internet viewing patterns and broad demographic information, but is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

GIF Information. We may use "clear GIFs" or web beacons to gather anonymous information about Internet usage patterns. These beacons may also be in the HTML-emails we send to you to track which emails are opened.

Use of Collected Information

Profile Information. Profile Information including profile pictures or graphics are publicly available to introduce users and facilitate the sharing of food experiences, reflections, opinions and anecdotes. Users from the broad community will be able to associate your user name with your account and profile by searching the Website or by viewing your submissions and contributions of Content. This profile allows you to introduce yourself to other users and to add new friends.

Personal Page Information. Information on your personal page will include a list of your friends, your posted Content, notifications and updates about your friends and their activities within the community. As your gateway to the community, you will also be able to manage your Content from this page. Other users will be able to view what you designate as public, but will not be able to alter or add to your personal page information beyond posting on your public message board. Registered users may send you a request to become their friend, which you can confirm or decline.

Posted Information. You post any Content at your own risk. Although certain parts of your personal pages are private and available only to you, no security measures are perfect so we cannot guarantee information or Content designated as private will not become publicly available. Any personal information that you voluntarily provide in any online Content will become publicly available. Additionally, your user name will become publicly available anytime you post new content to the Website or send messages within the community. Any Content in text, photo, graphic, video, audio, or other available format that you post online may be redistributed through third party websites and become available to the general public outside of the Website. We also cannot guarantee what other users may do with your Content.

Geographic Information. If you elect to receive location sensitive information such as restaurant recommendations, product tips or neighborhood and destination guides on your mobile device, we will use the geographic coordinates of your mobile device to deliver information customized to your location. Like all information that we collect, we take appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality of your geographic information. However, no measures guarantee against third parties gaining access to this information, so if you opt to provide your geographic information, you are doing so at your own risk.

Email Addresses. We will not use your email address or personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your prior consent. We may send non-commercial messages to your email address to notify you of updates, changes, or other administrative matters related to the Website or Services; however, you can opt out of these messages by modifying your account on the your personal pages. Messages sent between you and other users within the network will show your user name, but not any other personally identifiable information such as email addresses. We hope you invite friends to join our community. To invite friends, you will be required to provide us with your friend's email address to send the invitation. We retain this information in our database to track the success of our invitation and referral program.

Commercial Use of Information. You may share your information with marketers, online merchants and service providers by choosing to interact with them through sponsored groups, promotions, contests or sweepstakes. When these opportunities become available, we may notify you of a group or community activity that may interest you. We may also partner with third parties to provide products or services on the Website. We will make it distinguishable when third parties are involved in any product or service offering, but information about your use of the product or service may become available to the third parties.

Enhancing User Experience. We incorporate personally identifiable information and non-personally-identifiable information to create features, functions, and content based on our tracking and analysis of user preferences to provide you with a relevant and interesting experience. Cookies, Clear GIFs, and Log File Information. We also use the information we collect from cookies, clear GIFs and log files to: (a) store previously entered information so you do not need to reenter the information, (b) customize and personalize content and interface, (c) track aggregate statistics such as total users or pages visited, and (d) track our advertisements.

Subsidiaries and Affiliates. We provide personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information to our subsidiaries and affiliates when we need to process the information.
